I could get two motovox 10 mini bikes for 65 don't run, but have compression. Should I get them or no?

so bought bikes today for 65 and they are in rough shape throttle is messed up on both brakes are good on both. One pulls and sounds close to starting the other doesn't really let me pull. Any way I'm going to take carb off and clean it hopefully and then spray some starter fluid and hopefully it'll go. Any ideas? Should I replace engine? Im getting two briggs and straitens later today so might try to fab one of those onto the farm, but we'll see.

Update got both running pretty quickly after taking off air filter and spraying some starter fluid so overall really happy.
