ok so ive never done this before me and my friend wanna give it a shot so tell me what you think and advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated. also im on a small budget.

i will add in a roll cage too but im trying to find someone to weld it for me.
the base is going to be wood since i dont know how to weld. I added a pic atachment of the plans the middle 2 squares are seats the 2 small recatangles in front are pedals two back squares larger one is engine smaller one is a box to act like a trunk. im thinking put a live axle on with a Centrifugal Clutch to give it more power for the brakes im thinking band brakes since there eisier. a few questions is a 6.5hp enough? how long should my axle be? how big should my tires be? is adding shocks hard?
