no the bore is perfect dude and i havent had enough time to inspect the crank but will do on thursday plus i found where most of the weight was coming from lol that steel flywheel is about 24lbs.

but i'll have to order pistons, connecting rods, piston rings, a new camshaft, exhaust valve and a gasket set which would be about $280 estimate

OUCH! i would look at the local junk yard for a complete engine and then get the junk yard engine to run.

oh yea it's worth it when you see the power that can be made from this engine and besides im getting the parts for free from my old shop teacher i just got his call so YEAH!!!!!!!!!

and bad news i will end up building a rail instead of a reverse trike bmikarts doesnt have my parts in stock so cancelling that order.

what kind of tranny? BTW there are some twin brigs on hey mow going up to 11k rpm.

but i was wondering they make a connecting rod for the ch730 series engine thats .010 longer and was wondering if i could use it with the factory crank and wouldnt it give the engine a higher comp and longer stroke since its driving the piston up higher.

the trans is off the tractor i revived the twin from, 6 speed with reverse, and its a heavy mother. 11K on a twin.....scary...... and yes with a longer stroke youll get compression increases, but stuff specially sized especially billet rods is gonna cost u
