I am aware of replacing the springs on the driver unit which I assumed only changes what RPM the TC engages. Also I have the yellow comet spring for the driven unit on hand ready to install.

I also learned about the three holes on the driven unit and I am considering switching to the first position since 90% of my driving is on the street.

Trying to eliminate a dead spot around 3600rpm, the Kart pulls hard to 3600rpm then sits at 3600 for a few sec then pulls hard again to around 5200rpm.

Any other tuning options available for a TAV 30?

Doing some research maybe I am understanding what the engagement rpm means wrong.

I am thinking with stock springs engagement means the kart will start to move at 2200rpm? Or is that when it engages the driven pulley?

So if I got springs that engage at say 3200rpm, my thinking is the kart would start moving at 3200rpm or is that when it shifts?

As you can Tell I’m confused lol.
