Hello all I'm working on building a small street cart and I came across this frame. I've searched all over and googled for days but can't seem to identify it... any one have any suggestions or links to search?? Thanks for any assistance Greg:huh:

Sorry pics were taken by someone else and sent to me and then uploaded from my phone lol but the reference to the Gopowersports site helps... didn't know they had all those references. 👍 Thanks for the assistance

Does the rear frame appear to have been cut off? There's typically no open ended frame tubes used on a production kart.

It looks very much like a Carter Brothers 1435.

The rear tube "bumper" slides inside the frame rails. The welds and bends are perfect and consistent. It appears to be production...
the front frame "bumper is slightly smaller tubing (like the rear) but is welded. The single post steering column is also strange. Some of the parts do seem to be from a carter, but don't see any other pics like it. I did look the list on Gopowersports sight but didn't see any model that close.

Yeah I know what you mean about the mixed design features. It's frustrating trying to ID karts. This forum, collectively, is pretty good at identification with a 90% success rate, maybe, but that's not really our focus.

We seem occupied mostly with getting them back to running status, parts and engine sourcing, etc., plus building completely from scratch.

The single strut steering brace is often seen on Carter karts...like this one: http://kartingdistributors.com/pdfs/carterpdfs/k1143.pdf
