Gravity powered? haha

actually, i have 10 hp tecumseh with the camshaft pto. i'll be using belts to the first jackshaft and then chain to a second jackshaft and then to the axle... but your just joking cause it looks like some sort of soapbox deal right?

That's some creative use of Tuck tape!

What's the intended outcome?

tuck tape?
i use that sh1T for everything!

the intended outcome? like splinters? actually its to cruise around my backyard at a speed slightly faster and in far more comfort than my lawn tractors.

Nice. I like the frame. A 10HP should get you moving nicely

actually, the pieces that would most resemble a frame are not in yet, and i consider it more of a unibody. there will be 2x4 frame rails, and in the rocker panels, all glued to the floor pan with construction adhesive and lag bolted. the seat back, the firewall, the front grill, the dashboard will all be 3/4 inch plywood as well

the front axle and rear axle bearings will be attached to 3/8 inch thick x 3 1/2 flange x 15 inch long angle iron pieces which will cradle the body in each wheel well

i envision the day when flat pack plywood speedsters are available at ikea stores world wide...

i'm just kidding...

really

Or the 1/4-turn fasteners...

Any idea what this puppy's gonna weigh? 3/4" ply is pretty hefty!

PL is your adhesive of choice, yes?
