The freerunner award can not simply be given, it has to be earned.

This reminds me of when I was 19 and working in a die cast factory. One of the guys showed up with pigtails and I kept looking at him. At first break he came straight to me and asked what the fund I was looking at. I told him I was looking at his pigtails. He got a look of shock as his hand raised to the side of his head and he felt that they were there. It turns out that he got stoned before work and took a nap with his head in his girlfriends lap and she gave him pigtails. He didn't know a thing about it, the guys he rode to work with didn't even tell him.

Did you use the cursive E method to get dimes that nice?! Teach me your ways senpai!

Why yes haha if you like that should see my tig. I'm not much of a mig welder. I have learned that a lot of it is setting up the machine properly.

Anyway to answer a couple questions I have had asked....the idea of the build was kind of a challenge by a friend. I have built a few trikes and to kind of show of some fab work I do on the side I built it. the second part was the challenge, A buddy jokingly said man I'd like to see how nice of a trike you can put together. Started off about average and well I might have got a little carried away haha.

The rules were a predator 212 as a motor
A trike frame based off of something like sfd or the other trike builders
And A 26in front wheel

Basically how far can I go with it. There were quite a few things I wanted to do but for functionality and durability sake I had to stop at some point.

Regular gas no turbo no nitrous just all motor and something that I could run without having to rebuild everytime I got off of it.

I budgeted under 2 grand and without coating I did that. I made what I could for example the rear brake pedal system cost me about 30 bucks to make however I based it off of a 300 dollar system I saw online. I have searched parts for the last year. Buying scratch and dent parts and just having them recoated. The motor was free guy said it didn't run....I bought 4 go karts fixed them up and sold them to pay for it. Did a lot of side fab work so it didn't come from the work paycheck for my wife's sake and all in all it has not been too bad on the wallet. I have a few guys on ebay I deal with for my bike parts like when a down hill mountain bike with 300 dollar front disc brakes get parted out and they are like new well score a deal while you can. I never bought anything full price. Most people look at it all and imagine the cost but I'm a regular dude with a mortgage I can't afford 5000 dollars worth of parts to build an insane trike so find deal where I can. Anyone can do it just don't expect it to happen over night.

I started this build probably 8 months before I even joined here. It's been a blast ever since.
