So here the rear brake system I am working on the tabs at the end will be welded on then the whole system can be removed by just two bolts. Still needs some cleaning up but you guys will get the general idea. I still have to make the turnbuckle to connect the rod ends I hope to finish it up tomorrow. May even turn another pedal grip not sure yet not too crazy about the first one

Looks like a Misfit trike. I have the same kit currently under construction wth the 3'rd upright piece as well. Getting ready to do the seat mounts in the next day or two. Your tractor supply seat was easy to find and I picked it up on your recommendation. Liking the build. Might start one myself if I can find the time.

Clutch is in frames almost done brakes getting done starting to get it set up almost there had to make a "shift" plate to move the motor. I set the mout up for a regular clutch and the 3d was set up for inboard drive so I lost clearance

What tooth count did you buy that clutch with? Comes in 12-17 tooth in #35 chain and 12-14 in #428 chain. I've been looking at getting one of those clutches for a go kart build so I can run a higher ratio and not burn the clutch out. Upside is, you can revv the engine up, dump the clutch and do a wheelie or wicked takeoff.

Kind of a kit bought the pre bent tubing and then added my own touches here and there.

As far as the clutch I went with 12 on the drive

Ok so everything but the frame is at the coaters while I'm out of town. When I get back I'll send it out.

I will add that the clutch is kind of a pain. Getting the right cables and feel I want . I come from a motorcycle background and it for sure feels different. The current cable set up I have is temporary so I'm having motion pro make a custom cable. I'll let you guys know how it feels after the "real" cable gets on it for final set up.

Hey also you kart guys may be able to answer this. So I have race bearings and axel hangers. I also have a bracket to bolt on the caliper now. Looks better and cleaner. But I was wondering is a gusset on the other side a non issue?

Kinda like this pic here only supported from one side kinda freaks me out I'll take pics of mine asap this is just similar to mine

I have yet to find a good throttle setup I'm happy with. Ive tried two different twist throttles and a thumb throttle. I need a motorcycle setup and feel to be happy because like you I have a strong motorcycle background. Please share your setup for the throttle when you get a chance....thanks in advance!

I actually went with a thumb throttle. I have learned from motorcycles when people panic they tend to twist the throttle. But with a thumb grip it happens less often. Not saying I'd let someone who would do that ride it just kinda a just in case deal and the thumb throttle is also easier to limit the throttle to decrease the speed. Also because I have better grip choices. These are the best pics I have till I get back in town. Also shows my clutch lever that runs to the 3d clutch. I dialed my hydraulic front brakes in so you can lock up the front wheel without it hitting the thumb throttle. I'd prefer a different thumb throttle, a smaller maybe milled billet one but haven't found one that's more compact. I also struggled with having room for the front brake lever with a motorcycle throttle. Most are so big and bulky that I either couldn't get it close enough to grab it or didn't have the room to pull it back with our hitting

Newest update while I have been out of town not doing work on it I ordered a few parts, a flag so I'm more visible of course it's a pirate flag and not a bright orange one haha, a custom clutch cable from motion pro, different style caliper bracket and new axel hangers and a few other things that I can't wait to put on
