So im building basically a drift trike that doesn't drift. Its a 1wd assembly with a custom frame by your's truly(me), and a bike tire for the front steering. I got the frame mostly welded up but i still need to do some bracing.

Mounted the seat and put the engine on to see what it looks like, and it looks pretty sweet. Cant wait till my sprocket arrives!

Looks functional enough... although, those handle bars look awfully far from the seat... and IMO... footpegs on the front axle sux lemons when ya turn... calves get eaten up, pants get dirty EVERYTIME... heres mine that im building... but mine being built 'for' drifting... attachments are the updated look as of right now...

Yea im going to make foot pegs extending out from the frame, the pegs on the front wheel are just temporary.

Are those Harbor freight wheels? No good. I thought I saw you suggesting $8 HF wheels to another guy. Those tires will not hold up. The bearings are trash and the Hubs fall right out of the wheel.

yea they are just for testing. Once the trike actually works ill go up to tractor supply and get a 10" nice pair. You think the ones there are any better? Where would you suggest i get a nice pair of 2 with holes in the hubs 2" apart?

Ok as i said im looking with 10" tires with 4 holes each 2" apart.
I think these would work, if i chose 5" rim, would that mean it would be a 10" tire or what difference does the rim size make?

No the link i put already has the 4 holes in it that are 2" apart each. And i was just going to put it on the axle with 2 collets and then the sprocket, and 2 of the bolts would go through the wheel into the sprocket which is basically me making my own mount for the sprocket to the wheel. I already have the sprocket with the 4 holes each 2" apart, so thats why i was just looking for a wheel because i already have my way of bolting it. I guess my real question is what is the difference in the rim size? Does it change the height of the tire or is it the width?

Don't have any info for u but sweet trike only thing I would do different would be how you have the foot pegs but besides that nice build props man..

But i cant decide what rim size to get. When it says 4", 5", or 6", does it mean the diameter of rim or the width of the rim? And does it change the height of the tire?

Ok so does the diameter of the rim change the height of the tire or what real difference does it make? Because i don't want to order 6" rims and have the tire be taller than 10" and mess up my gear ratio.

Tire size is 1 thing... rims size is another... sssssoooooo... if the #'s are the same except for the rim size...
