transmission question

I'm certain this has been asked before. This is my first post & my first adult go kart. I got a 2002 Hammerhead 150gts, it was dead, so I'm curious if there's a way to use the trans & hook a predator 212cc to that? I'd like to keep reverse

Pictures are going to help us to help you. I think those are a gy6 engine, so I'm not sure they are compatible, but I could be wrong and it be a four stroke with a cvt or the like.

I've never worked on a gy6. If shaft sizes match I don't see why you couldn't put a predator in it. See if the shaft off the gy6 is 3/4", if it is, a 212 should be an easy swap.

I thought the gy6s had a splined shaft, which wont work on a predator. You might be better off putting a tav kit on the predator.
