Well I didn't fix the bog yet, but I did set a new personal speed record. 55 MPH according to the bicycle speedo. The speedo and GPS seems to very close +/- 1 MPH.
I'm calling it 55. Speed limit!
Also no more vibrating. Silky smooth again.
From a stop, it will bog and die if I wack the throttle wide open. This is with the idle turned up so that the bike will roll if I don't actively keep it stoped (feet, brakes, etc...).
However, without changing anything, If I allow the bike to roll (still at idle, no extra throttle) at 7mph and then whack the throttle wide open, the bog is almost gone. Just a slight hesitation then a rolling wheelie.
Enriching the idle mix (fuel screw from 2.125 turns to 3.125 turns out) didn't help. It seemed to make it slightly worse.
Also leaning out the idle mix (fuel screw form 2.125 to 1.125 turns out) didn't help very much.
My base setting of around 2 1/8 turns out seems to be best.
It starts on 2nd pull with choke usually.
It will die if I turn the fuel screw all the way in.
I think the idle jet is ok.
I'll have to tune elsewhere or.....
I'll just have to learn how to work the throttle better if I want the fastest takeoff possible.
