With new chain and better belt....
5.4:1 Gear Ratio....
Measured Dist per axle revolution was more like 3.6' per revolution.

Sigma Bicycle Speedometer said max was 53 mph.
Tachometer wouldn't work (even with a new battery).
Should be around 6300 RPM.
GPS on Phone said 50-51 MPH mostly ( it flashed 52 MPH briefly, but I let off the gas to slow down shortly after the Sigma Bicycle Speedo said 53 MPH).

GPS is usually 2 mph slower than my car (not sure how accurate car speedo is?).
GPS usually has a couple seconds delay between display and live speed.
Was going uphill most of the way.
Next I'll try down hill.

Still Wheelies, but more controllable.
I think I like the 8T better, maybe I'll try the 9 after a bit.

20% less torque at the wheels.

Attempting to see a new best 1/8 mile.


Violent wreck at ZERO MPH.
The bike flipped and rolled like I was doing 50MPH.

20% less TQ does not make it any safer.

Wheelie bars are going to be like 10 lbs minimum.

I still need to decide what to do for the wheels. I was thinking cheap swivel casters, or inline skate wheels. Swivel casters would be easy, hmmmm???

I need to cut off the chain guard (it is bent badly on the bottom) to fit the flat bar (tabs) where I want.

Finally a wheelie bar! Thanksgiving last year my cousin brought his minibike. It had some power, i think 6.5hp but not sure. Anyways coming back up grandmas driveway i think, wheelie why not! So i let off and then hammer on throttle and pull back a little....i came flying off the back of that thing so quick. Ripped my jeans in the knee. scrapped my knee and i think i still have a small rock in my back from it.

Mini bike rolled forward while i lay on the ground and it coasted to a stop with the pegleg popping out and holding it up. no damage to the minibike. Thank god no one was recording that day but i did have a crowd!

Backrest on the seat! that would help.

Cant wait to see some videos with the wheelie bar keeping you on the ground and on the bike. looks great so far.

Bob you need Razor Scooter wheels. Or yeah inline skate Wheels.

I need about 5 inches from the bottom of the wheel to the Ground to keep the geometry nice.

The end of the bar is about 8" from the ground.
Depending on the wheel type I choose and where I put the axle, I should be close to where I need to be.

My calcs say I can take an abrupt 8.9 degree ramp and not unload the rear tire.

Well the wheelie wheels were really expensive.
