I'd keep your dirtbike. he says its high miles, but has a newer motor...who knows though. dont trust everything you hear. even if it is lower miles its still a gm, those things are far from bulletproof.

As is any make of this vintage. Atleast the parts are cheap for GM SBC. Also IMO the 350 small block is the most bullet proof engine that came out of Detroit. It was/is a great design. Also an 400 trans is pretty rock solid.

I have no clue. But I am willing to be that they made more 350 sbc that any other engine. By far.. I am not a chevy only guy. I like all cars really. But I really enjoy working on a SBC. So simple and basic design. Parts are cheaper than most makes. And you can find parts in the middle of the dessert. At the drags who knows. But If I had to pick a small block to drive across the counrty. I would pick a Chevy 350.
