Got this YTV/16 a few months ago. Found it on the side of the road by the HS with a FREE sign on it. Had to call a buddy to come help so I didn't have to two trip it. I also broke one of my wood ramps, so it was a good thing he helped out. Lol. Have a mower deck and snowblower for it. Almost every pulley with a bearing was toast.

Snowblower^
Already have a few of the late 80's early 90's craftsman as well as a plow and blower, so no need for this. Probably sell it in the spring/summer of 2021.

Got a couple of GT5000s and a '84 Bombardier MPV20 twin PTO. Old machine , hard on parts sourcing, but only thing I can legally drive on the street and it'll do 28mph. 3spd, 2 Range, 4x4 with front locker. Never seen a more lelibale workhorse. My Case 480C seems to be in parts more than it is working, and this lil champ only needs a clutch about every 1700hrs (114k miles) or so because of a wonderful missalignment that can't be fixed. Other than its turn key, wait for plugs, and off ahe goes.

finnaly got something that isnt junk i paid 120 bucks for a nice troy built it was abused but save able has normal mtd problems but runs and drives good needs an alighnment, pully swap and exhaust stack or side pipe, the mufflers rotten. it pops nice wheelies, has good tires and 5/8 from spindles so i put go kart wheels on the front. took the deck off.

Im at school cant post pictures at the moment but i will as soon as i can. they sold it so cheap because they thought the starter went out because there was no click. bad solenoid ground, compression release was stuck wouldnt turn over. it works enough to start because i adjusted the valves a little too tight on purpose it runs good didnt even have to rebuild the carb they store it right by draining the gas. but the shrouding was full of oil grease grass rodent poop dirt dobber nests. it was bad i couldnt get the rest out, im going to go through the motor a bit and take the sump off and clean the entire motor get any nasties out, possibly replace the cam if its missing anything to the compression release.

im gonna make a pully start for rope start if it decides to not start by key while parked. and i carry starting fluid with me at all times it needs a bunch of small things and matence to the motor before i trust it enough to take it to a proper testing grounds

Picked this up for free on a scrap run. What I can tell of stamps its a 1987 Model. Had a 11hp Briggs on it but thanks to Covid boredom I got a slightly modified Polaris 330 and live axle with a 520 48t sprocket off a mud buggy build. I'm thinking true mid engine, change to rack and pinion steering, and maybe even go fancy and put a seat cover on it!

I have a Case 480c backhoe, Sears Suburban 10 or 12 hp tractor that I took the Takashema off and replaced with a 420 Predator. A worn out 87 John Deere 180 and a 2017 Cub Cadette I cut my grass with.
Budget I still have the Takashimmy I pulled off the Suburban you can have it free if you come get it. I live near Knox Indiana.

My dad had dropped this off for me. Got it from his brother, for me to use. It's a 1990s John Deere LX188 lawn tractor. 48" mower deck. Has an optional 38" snowblower or a larger (but harder to mount) 42" snowblower. It cuts the yard much faster. Also have a 48" Agri-Fab pull behind lawn sweeper also from my uncle. Also has a spring tooth de-Thatcher attachment that can be used on it.

The Kawaski engine is liquid cooled, so it's a bit quieter than an air-cooled. But that could also be from the muffler as well. Unknown amount of hours on it because it lacks an hour meter, probably over 1000 hours at this point. The nice thing about this one compared to MTD tractors is, when you go in reverse the mower stays engaged and doesn't disengage like the same vintage MTD ones will.
Needs a mower deck block for mulching. Will add better pictures when tomorrow if I remember.

It's a nice tractor. It's no garden tractor, but it does what I need to do. May try to find a JD420 or an older 170 garden tractor. Want something that can do a Brinly moldboard plow and a disc harrow. Want to make a garden and would prefer it to do the mini farm way rather than get a tiller.

This one ended up with one of my friends, I kept the deck and the blower and he bought the tractor itself. it's currently sitting waiting for a pulley swap and some tlc, (battery and ignition switch). Pretty sure he's planning on throwing some atv tires on the back as currently it's got rotted turf savers. Just thought I'd post as it's now fall 2021, about a year since I got it.
