How am I supposed to torque down the driver bolt on a tav2 copy converter? I thought I was doing it proper but the bolt works its way loose. The kit did not come with a bolt or washer and I am using a fender washer. I looked on a diagram and it shows a pilot washer. Where can I find one if it is needed.

Thanks

A fender washer would work fine (some "smaller" washers fit smaller bolts e.g. a 1/4" washer may fit a 5/16" bolt just right.

If you can, get a grade 8 over a grade 5 washer.

Additionally, a lock washer can be placed between the bolt head and the fender washer.

You can put a wrench to the bolt, hold the drive unit with your left hand while placing your left thumb over the wrench and bolt (do you get what im saying?) with the right hand you grab a hammer (if you are right handed) you hit the bolt a couple times and impact it on.... or if you have an impact wrench, just impact it on.

Blue threadlocker.

put more locktite on it then, apply it directly to the shaft and bolt. Make sure the bolt and shaft hole are free of grease. Let the locktite fully set up before you drive it.
