Torque Converter sticking

Evening guys! We our RTG TC came in this evening and we bolted it on. While my son was riding he took his foot off of the gas but the Kart kept going. Seems like it is sticking in the wide open position. Any suggestions?

Did you install it correctly? I havent heard of a RTG TC before.
