I have a Series 30 TC. Has anyone moved the jack shaft sprocket to the outside of the TC pulley. I realize this will require a slightly longer shaft. Will this be to much added stress on back plate and result in failure.

I am not an expert, but don't think that will work. The "driven" pulley needs to expand along the axis of the shaft, there can't be a sprocket hanging out there in the way. But maybe I misunderstood the question.

I think Hack didn't like the Monkeys. If you were alive and into rock music during the mid 60's there were plenty of rumors that they didn't even play their own instruments. Then Hollywood gave them their own T V show. None of that helped
them gain any popularity with the teenagers of that time. ( Like Hack and myself were ). Since then history has been much kinder to the band. I even like a couple of their records now when I listen to oldies radio.

I think it’s a shame that they’re not in the Rock and Roll hall of fame. Their sang on all their records except the first 2 or 3 singles which were Boyce and Heart. They outsold the Beatles at the time. They worked hard to prove themselves.
