Torque Converter or Clutch?

I have a KT100 2 stroke engine, I'm not sure if I should use a clutch or torque converter. I just ride around my neighborhood & empty parking lots right now, but plan on getting on a race track this summer. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'd plan on a clutch, unless your track requires direct drive.

What track are you planning on racing at? We might be able to look up they're KT100 class rules if they have a website.

I'm not sure of the name but it's in Lemmon Valley, Nevada.

I'm not planning on racing just yet, I just want to see what my lap times are & compare them to other racers.

You should concentrate on keeping the engine from falling off first

Looks like KT100 engines are in the Piston Port 100 class at your track.
I'd suggest you call or email Rodney Rivera and ask about clutches, gear ratios and the type of exhaust required/recommended for your class.
