i have a intek 190, 6hp engine. the shaft is 3/4 x 2 1/4 long. will the comet tav2 work on this. i also read that comet went under and if so, were to get this torque converter at. i also have a 70 tooth sproket on the axle with 145/70 -6 rear tires. will this work on hilly terrain. thanks

Bang on there :p
That setup would be great for hills, the tav2 can be found at MFGsupply.com. they only sell genuine comet goods.
You may need to do mild grinding of the backplate or engine to make it fit, but it shouldn't be hard.
Make sure you get the correct pitch sprocket and correct diameter driver for your setup.
