I plan to build a homemade Kart with a 212cc motor 13" rear tires, live axle and a torque converter. But I was wondering with a torque converter do you need a jack shaft and if so what is the purpose? Also I want to be able to climb hills near my house and wondered if any certain gear ratio would help me. Thanks in advance and help would be appreciated. Also what Web site has quality parts for cheap?
