Torque Converter Instantly Starting

Yesterday I started up my engine for the first time with my series 30 torque converter on it and the second it turned on the whole torque converter engaged. What do you guys think is causing this problem?

Turns out I'm stupid and put something on backwards . It works now but thanks for the help anyway that was going to be my first option, but good thing I looked at the tq before I did that.
