I was wondering if any of you guys have worked with one of these types of tools for fixing chains....do they work ok?
I'm looking for something that I can use to fix #41 ... if this type doesn't work well, would you know of a better one.

well when I did a search on ebay that thing poped up. I'm just looking for one of those tools that are used to take the pins out of and make a #41 chain shorter because I'm sick of useing a vice , hammer, and whole punch.

Dragster are you talking about the one in the first post or the squair block one??

Eagle that link showes one like in the first post but yours is cheeper I might go that rought.

one thing that I'm wondering is how would I push the pin all the way out, through both sides of the chain. also once I do get the pins back in how would I put the taper in the top of it to keep it from falling out or would I have to do that??
