Tomberlin crossfire won't start :(

I just got a tomberlin crossfire 150 yesterday. Started up and drove it off the trailer for 5 minutes. Today I go out to the garage and it won't start. Nothing! Not a turnover a click nothing but silence
Any ideas ? It's not the battery. The only fuse that I could find is ok.

How do you know it's not the battery?

With the info provided, it sounds like a wiring issue but, it could be a safety switch; I'm not sure about the crossfire but, on ATV's there are safety switched on the brake levers which prevent the starter from engaging unless the brake lever is depressed...

Go through all the wiring & make sure there are no loose connections& check for safety switches while you're at it...

I just picked it up from a shop that rebuilt the motor and brakes and I'm pretty sure they put in a new battery. Plus it's on the charger and it reads full

I've got one of those!
I'm probably not able to be too helpful, as mine has a 600cc yamaha street bike motor in it, but i can tell you that the wiring diagram shows a "killswitch" it should be connected some where along the black/white wire.

It could be a bad connection in the key switch. Next time you try to start it, wiggle the key around and see if it fires. otherwise look at all wiring and check for shorts or loose connections.

Ok, talked to the shop who sold it to me today. Told me to try jumping the starter solenoid with plyers. I did and it turned over. Still won't start but at least I think I found the problem. Thanks for the help guys

Mine was rigged up through the factory key switch, but it started to go bad. I was able to get it to work by pushing the key up or down in the switch. Might help. I just replaced the switch. If jumping the solenoid cranks it, then it is probably the key switch.

Still won't start but at least I think I found the problem.

One issue at a time Once you have it turning over with the key then we can discuss why it won't fire...

Just in case you do have it turning over, do you have spark at the plug?

Thanks Fabroman for all the help! The shop fixed it for me since I literally just picked it up and the next day it died. But I felt helpless that weekend and it's nice to know there are people in the forums and community that are willing to help. Thanks again everyone!

Also Fabroman, where do u buy your parts? I've seen catalogs and my local shop sells stuff but what do you recommend? Thanks

I'm in metro Detroit.
I have a riding lawn mower that I stretched and need to add the drivetrain. The steering is there but is original to the very old mower which wouldn't work going at any speed at all.

Yes it was the starter solenoid.
I also complained that none of the lights worked. And when I picked it up he said that now the running light (rear) works and now I have to have my foot on the brake to start it.
