To Powdercoat or Not.....

Just seeing how may people have had their frames and such powercoated.... and how much it generally runs for a normal sized 1 seater kart...
Pics?
Pros cons?
IS IT WORTH IT?
Or should i just sand it down and throw on some rustoleum?
any other options?

If properly prepped, Rustoleum can't be beat.
Kart #1 is Sunrise Red.
Kart #2 is Sunburst Yellow.

I'd go with powdercoat if you can get a deal. Epoxy floor coating would be freaking amazing, but colour selection is limited.

I was quoted a high if 300 and a low of 80 bucks toady when I was calling around... That's for sandblasting and powdercoating... I have to take it down to the frame though they won't take anything apart...
Decent price i think wound be close to 100 so I'm the ballpark.

Line X is a great idea though I'm going to call around and see if I can get that done for cheep! Thanks guys!

Well, thats what the guy on the phone quoted me, given he has not seen the cart i gave him the best description of it i could... But if 80 bucks is true im going to move on that this week.
