if you've remotely followed the supermanotorious DIYGoKarts saga, you'd know about that pesky neighbor who vandalizes the neighborhood

WELL HE'S STILL AT IT

only the paint hasn't been an issue in years, these days it's mostly broken Heineken bottles in the street and against this old lady's block wall, eggs thrown in the same location, and trash dumped in the street

he's 52 years old and I've F'N had it

so almost every day I'm off, I go collect all the broken green glass I can find, then I throw it on his driveway, he finally figured out it was me so to retaliate he's been putting small amounts of paint on my stuff

on one hand I was ready to go pepper the front of his house but I'm not that rash, instead I followed his girlfriend/wife to work, not sure what I'll do with that knowledge yet

but to keep him from messing with my stuff, or at least catch him doing it, I got out the old iOS devices that have cameras and I'm running iCam and iCamsource on them, they send push notifications to my iPhone when there is motion

I noticed they dont pick up much in the dark so I tried to think of how to light it up, oh yeah! I had an old security/motion light but wasnt sure if it worked, I wired it up with a 60w bulb and sure enough it does, I put it near the sidewalk on the roof of the toy hauler, great!

but then, how could I get it brighter? sure the 500w construction lights are brighter but how to trigger them with the motion sensor

ah ha! disconnest the output wire of the sensor and turn it in to a receptacle that the work light could plug in to, brilliant! so I went to Ace, bought another motion sensor and did the same but on the roof of the house- get close to my yard or vehicles and you'll be blasted with light!

now, like any reasonable person, I thought, how could I wire up all my work lights? (and I have a bunch) the amperage would be too much for the motion sensor, hmmm, a relay? ah yes, how about the 50 amp DPDT relay I just received as back up for my toy hauler system- now I haven't taken it here yet but the idea is intriguing, the motion sensor output would trigger the relay which would pass though hd wiring for all those work lights

so what happens when I catch him? I truly dont know, it will depend on what "tools" are around, how much booze is in my system, and what the good Lord would have done, time will tell

Or do this...

What is this world coming to? Men and women no less relieving themselves on this man's property.

Disgusting and depraved.

Reminds me about an episode I saw on snapped (dont judge me) hahaha! The police were called into it, and they couldnt prosecute the guy that instigated everything, vandalizing etc unless they had video proof.

Both neighbors ended up with video cameras.

The episode ended with the neighbors threatening each others lives, setting fire to their property and homes, and none of them backing down. So the guy that started it all, calls up his old lawyer shady friend who knew a killer for hire. He then offers some money to get his neighbor killed.

Next thing you know, the cops show up and throw that neighbor in prison because the lawyer lied and just went to the cops instead. This is sad/unfortunate. Hope you don't lose your sanity. Just think, it could be worse.

When I was a kid I had a paintball gun, and man, those things HURT! I think it would be hilarious if you did a stakeout and caught that loser red handed. Then just absolutely unload on him :2guns: filming it of course for our enjoyment. That guy will probably think he is being shot with a real gun. Haven't used a paintball gun in probably 15 years, but back then they had some pretty nifty setups, can't imagine the crazy stuff they have on them now.

There are so many things I'd like to suggest, but I'm sure the bleeding heart types would scream.
I'll just say that I wouldn't be anywhere near as polite and courteous as has been suggested so far. The fool wants a fight, I'd give him one he'd never forget.

well believe me, so many ideas are swirling in my head and some are just vile, I am provoking him, attempting to draw him out, I walk down the street he breaks glass on and get as much as I care to in a bucket, then I sling it all over his yard and driveway, only thing is though, he doesn't come around now with the lights, he's a total chicken $h1t

on a comic side note, gals on walks at night have been giving us the bird for the bright lights, the cameras dont lie, but guess what, now they cross the street instead of walking in front of my house, who knew it was this easy to eliminate foot traffic from in front of your house
