Hello my fellow DIYer's

I got a question, I just bought some 6" WMS True Roll Wheels (6x6x2.5) and I plan on putting them on a street/offroad kart. My problem is the tallest slick tires I can find are only 11 inches.

My question to you guys and gals is......

Can I use Superturf Saver Tires (15x6x6) on these Aluminum Wheels?

Thanks

As long as your rim size matches you can run plus 1 or 2 inches on width ....example I got 8x7 rims with 22x11x8 tires and that's plus 4 on the width but everybody else you going to tell u to add pics and ask your ratio and if its torque converter or centrifugal clutch to were I answer a simple question with a simple answer but all that does matter theoretically

Yea that would work but your tread might be recessed thinner than the rim like on a yard kart how the rim is fatter than the tread I have found its better to go with a slightly wider tire than rim I find that it keeps its bead locked better thats why my tires are 4 inches wider than my rims..also more theory's don't know if its proven but the higher the side walls the wider tire I go it seems less likely to throw the tire off the rim from my experience

Ha ha ha, I grew up in Cleveland, but now live in AZ after getting out of the Air Force. Boy I sure do miss the excellent fishing Ohio has to offer
