I have a 6 1/2 hp Honda clone with a 50 pound go cart and a 200 pound person...I want to prevent the tires from digging up my lawn so should I go and spend the 200 and get all turf tires or can I run some racing slicks and get away with it? Also the racing slicks seem like it would be fun but I want it to still drive well. Any advice?

Don't drive it on your lawn very much? :welcome2:

Seriously, that's the only way. The more you drive on it, the more its going to chew it up. My daughter drives her power wheels around our back yard. There is a little trail starting and this is with little plastic non grippy wheels.

Build a Hovercraft! Yeah....grass +gokarts= >grass ..... No matter which tires...."turf savers" just don't uproot it immediately....anything you roll over grass repeatedly will kill it eventually......
