What type of tire should i use for my go-kart for hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt? ribbed, sawtooth, slick, studded, or turf savers? Which tire should i use for the rear and for the front?

Slicks will work the best, if that is the only surface you plan on driving on. Tire sizing depends on the size and power of your kart, and the wheels you currently have/want to use.
Post some pics.

:iagree:

There's no need for treaded tires on dry/hard riding surfaces. You'll want slicks so you have as much rubber as possible in contact with the ground, both in front and back of your kart

If you want the absolute best possible traction, you could order extra-soft compound racing slicks from any on-line racekart shop like this one:--> http://www.out2win.com/catalog/tire.html
