tire size questions

I have a set of 2.80/2.50-4 tires on what im assuming are 4 inch rims from a set of Pneumatic casters, and was wondering if they are in fact 4"s based on that tire size. Also are there any smaller O.D. tires that would fit that size wheel tires or some that are wider that way i could widen the rim to fit the new tires width? Im just kind of looking for some "less dolly" looking tires with a better contact pad for better turning traction.

I think you have to worry less about the dolly LOOK, and more about the fact that you are using caster/dolly wheels and rims. They are not made for go karts, and have really thin rims and low speed bearings (if any). The are definately not suitable for karts.

If I were you, I would try look for some cheap kart tyres. The The rims that you have there are 4" rims. the "-4" in the series of numbers you gave indicates this

Thanks for the info. Do you know of any pneumatic kart wheels/tires that are under 8" o.d. that would be a suitable swap for the razor kart?

The closest thing I can think of, off the top of my head are racing wheels but, they're 10"
