hey guys,

im new to this forum and im beginning to amass parts for my fisrt ever go kart. im buying wheels right now and i have a few questions..
i purchased 2 piece, 4-hole split rims with a 4 in diameter. (4 of em) and now im looking for some tires.

questions:
do i want slicks or other kinds? (mostly street and some grass driving)?

rims say they fit 410x4, but all of the sizes i see are either 400x5 or like 410/350x4?

where can i get some tires from?
do i want tubeless or tubes?

sorry for all of the noob questions, need some advice from the vets haha
thanks guys

you need tubes for split rims. some carlisle studded tread tires always work nicely or perhaps some turf savers they last longer. im not farmiliar with all those sizes so i cant comment on that also i never buy tires new always get them from the junk yard :)

You can set up a split rim for tubeless use, Just use lots of RTV silicone when putting the rim together.
