I have a two seat thunder kart and it has a 5.5 HP OHH55 engine on it now. The carb is trashed by my own doimg . When I took the float bowl off I messed up the threads.
I can get a after market carb for $40 from Amazon. I have never seen the engine run and the throttle set up looks jury rigged.
Should I just buy a 6.5HP Predator and go with that? I can get one for $95 with a coupon and tax.
The current engine has a clutch and chain so the switch over should be easy.
