Need some ideas on installing a removal throttle stop so my daughter can learn how to drive her go kart at a slower, safer pace. I have just a standard handlebar mounted "brake lever" type throttle. Any thoughts? It's for the 52cc Scooterx Power Kart. Thx!!

If you drive slower, you burn the clutch up faster... (Unless it's quite a bit above the engaging speed)...

You could re-gear it...

Well, at $15 for a new clutch I'll risk it :sifone:

Just looking for a temporary removal solution until she feels comfortable with it.

where the butterfly is on the carb, you could attach some kind of limiter on the "open" side, vs the limiter that's on the closed side (used for the idle adjust).
