Throttle cable! :(

okay, i need a throttle cable for my go kart because mine snapped. but it has no ball on the end or barrel its just a straight wire in a rubber tube... so can i just order one a little bit bigger and just cutt it to size? i just made a ghetto one yesterday with a bunch of bike brake lines that i bound together lmao

Didn't you already start a thread about this throttle cable? Go to walmart and buy a 10speed bike cable repair kit. It's about $6-$7..... Use the long one for the throttle....

straight .. in a tube?

go to the next bike shop, tell them how long it needs to be.. they cut it from their 100ft reel.
either reuse your old tube, or buy it new at the same bike shop

(use brake cable.. it's a bit thicker and will not snap as easily as a shift cable IIRC)
