throttle cable tinnerman nut?

sorry about all the ?'s just want everything right. ordering throttle kit from bmi and it includes tinnerman nut. how does this work? i just want it tight that was problem before completely redone this kart. it was rigged like a bomb even had nails holding throttle and brakes together.

The throttle cable runs from the engine to the throttle rod threaded end - there should be guides on the right side of a single seater, or under the seat of a 2-seater. The L-end of the throttle rod connects to the accelerator pedal and the tinnerman nut goes on the end of the L so that it does not slip off the pedal.
