I have to replace my throttle cable as the one that came with the gokart is destroyed. What type of cable do I get and does the length matter or is it adjustable?

One could typically get away with a brake cable for a bicycle.... They have long lengths and you can cut to size..

I was thinking one of these might work...Amazon prime is a wonderful thing. I didn't know if one was recommended over another.

Mainly it depends on your motor, and how the cable mounts... like I said... typically the brake cable works on a pred..... but you dont list your motor....

Sorry about that..i have a brand new predator 212 that going to be my starter motor for now. I have to also figure out how to hook the throttle up to this motor for the go kart but one step at a time. I just cut the plate off (thanks billy for help) that was welded on there cause it didnt line up right and had poorly drilled holes in it. I havent ordered up a new motor mount yet but planning on grabbing the 15degree international one from go power sports or order the burris one that has changeable plates.
