I have a 70cc chinese bike which ran great over the last summer, now it will start but wont idle, it simply dies, plus when I shift into 4th gear and open the throttle all the way, it bogs down, what gives? If needed, I will mount my GoPro to the bike and shoot a video so you have a better picture of what I'm referring to. I am mechanically inclined so I can clean the carb etc if necessary but I'm hoping its something easier

24 views and no one is going to offer any assistance, hmm In my few posts I've answered more questions than I've asked, thanks for your help!

I am not too sure what the problem is with your bike, but give the guys a chance. More than likely it is going to be your carb, but hang around to see what everyone else is going to say

Ok, I cleaned the carb real good and then put it back together, when it starts its all the way open, it's a vertical cable carb, is there something obvious I'm doing wrong? Why is it stuck in full throttle?

did you reconnect the governor linkage? that could be a problem. Also, the throttle cable itself could be too tight. you could loosen it up.
