Hi,

I was wondering what about a threaded rear axle? You can grab everything with nuts. The sprocket the wheels, brakes... what do you think about that? Or is it just unnecessary to thread the whole axle? I would like to hear your opinion about it.

Live axles are threaded on ends to secure wheels/tires. Everything else that fits on axle such as sprockets and brakes are held in place with set screws and keys. Keyway runs entire length of axle.
