this was all about using tools and welding!

if you saw my new yerf 4206 or whatever it is and where I said it wouldn't fit thru the back yard gate, and like a jackas s I put my Harley in the back yard while the Yerf was on the RV pad well I got inspired and got down to business

I apologize I didn't take more pictures throughout but I used a ton of tools and did some haggard as s welding but from a few feet back you'd never even know

I took the gate from 44" to 55" and I cant deny that I am especially proud of this project, I used everything from an 8lb sledge to a wire brush

I never noticed my nabes painted the block we share, I may have to media blast my half since I like the natural block

this process literally fatigued the muscles in my hands which has never happened to memory

You really should remove the paint on your half of the block, even if its just for a joke.

Just to make sure I've got things straight, you removed/modified the blocks on the LH side of the gate, correct? Were they keyed into the neighbors section, or were they free standing?

The rest of it looks great; and I've had my share of "we're not stopping 'till we're done" projects, so I'm feeling for you.....

Seeing as it is a GATE, with that job to do, the welds actually do kinda count.... As for the structure, most of that is hidden by the boards; throw an even coat of cheap paint at it, and it'll pas the 50/50 test with flying colors...

I wasnt thinking of the gates feelings.... its not JUST a gate.... I minimized gate instead of validating gate and his or her importance. I recognize the error of my ways and will work to improve my attitude in the future toward gate and his friends aka gates.

yes, I knocked out the LH blocks which were sitting on my property, they were free standing with only 2 pieces of re-bar inside, the white blocks are keyed on our mutual wall
