Think i made a good deal

Talked to a buddy of mine today he takes alot of scrap to the scrap yard . Prices are $4 a hundred in alabama right now . I offered him $10 a hundred if he bring me nonworking lawnmowers, chainsaws, weeddaters and so one . Think i made a good deal ?

$10 per hundred pounds for whole lawn mower and any other lawn equipment gona fix and resale or part out

Yeah...the scrapyards around here charge @ $.40 a pound....so that's a killer deal!

That's a good deal but, you may end up selling half of it back to him...

Sometimes you can get lucky & find that the only issues are small things like blades or carb issues, then there's the ones that have major issues, the one's that are not worth scrap value...

Having said that, I know, from experience, it's a great way to pass the time & make a few dollars...
