Well not to long ago I came across a Video of a 125cc drift trike on youtube ( colinfurze ) . Well it didn't take long before I was on the hunt for the parts to build me one . Everything I pretty much had layin around the shop or at home expect for the motor . Well my coworker said his cousin was selling a lil 49cc baja atv for $40 , just missing a wheel and tire . when I got it back to the shop added so gas and jumped the starter ,started right up . From that moment it took 3 days to come up with this crazy lil trike . I'm just going to post up the pics for now and next post I give a lil more detail if anyone cares .

That was using a thin bucket cut up
Next set is of 1" thick pvc . Had the steam roller look for a minute lol . It work like that but was to much so cut it down

All you need now is tire tread on the outside of the pvc and you heave flat-proof wheels. And a powerful engine and drivetrain to drift on slicks.With a lot of weight in the front,of course.

Thank brotha . The trike has no problem with the pvc and sliding with the lil 49cc . I'll get some video of that . My coworker has a few 90cc and 110cc laying around . One with a 3 speed and reverse .So I'm already planning a reworked frame on this one and upping the cc just cause I like over powered light weight **** . And use the 49cc to build one of my oldest son that's about to be 15 (I'm 33) this month with his old bmx frame . These thing is to much fun . Tires are expensive for all my rides and loving to go sideways doesn't help matters lol this is way cheaper

It's like the guy watching a blacksmith work on a horsehoe....he reached over and picked it up to take a look and immediately dropped it. The blacksmith asked (snickering) : "Was that hot?" The fellow answered: "No....it just doesn't take that long to look at a horseshoe."

Soooo....no....there's nothing that takes any brainpower to decipher such a useless post.....(you're the only one that doesn't get it.)

Well did a redesign of the frame . Lighter and I truly think more stout. Came out 5" shorter also . Lil English bulldog look to it now

Loaded in the back of the 5.0 ranger for the voyage back home . And if it's a big pic sorry . This app is the only way for me to upload as easy as I do

Well got some pics finally of the new frame mods and other lil mods I'm trying to do . This thing is a blast to ride . Maybe taller the most like but it gets the job done just as good .
Finally added a push button start and a nice welded up battery box .tie down platform so I can hold the 6 pack down when I run across the street to the gas station

And welded up tabs for the caliper so I have front disc brakes . Need to get a new cable to reach .

Well we (my 2 sons and me ) went around the local high school and beat the snot out of the trike and the kart today . So pretty much a weekend full of riding . Wish I could of brought out the mini baja ( few mods done) but I think the jack shaft is jacked lol . I'm going to try and drill a hole and install a zerk fitting so I can grease the whole tube like I did on the drift trike . It had a lil bearing noise so I drilled and taped a zerk fitting o it . Noise is gone and free rolls awesome now .

Thanks man , it as a blast . Now time to get some maintenance done to the baja and I can get all three out riding for each of us ( me and my 2 boys ) . I'm gong to install a grease fitting and fill the jackshaft with grease and see if that helps for now . Has a horrible screeching sound at low speeds coming from the shaft which probably means new bearings are needed

Well since I a mechanic I'm come across all kinds of goodies in that can be give a new life as something else . Here is my bmw electric water pump I'm about to slap on the trike lol. how many Rpms a 50cc turn stock . Cause my theory is if this thing turns 10k it's gotta do something lol

Make a paper weight I'm going to wire it up can connect to the carb and see what happens lol Am going to order a new rebuild kit for my bday gift to me self anyway .
