How are ya, let me tell you a story if you don't mind. A few days before I had to leave to go to college in Kentucky, I went to my favorite barbershop to get my hair cut. Around my neighborhood, I'm know for designing and build some beautiful machines, so its not uncommon for somebody to ask questions or for me to build something. In the barbershop, a barber by the name of Elton asked me this question," I know you can build bikes, but can you build go karts?" My answer with a laugh "Oh yeah." So Elton gave me the task of building a fast beautiful go kart. But there was a catch. He told me he wants lights, a sound system, It must look futuristic, and must do 100 or over. The biggest grin came across my face. So after doing my usual research, I came up with go kart on steroids. I'm not using a motorcycle engine or go kart racing engine. I'm using gas electric hybrid tech like I do with my bikes. So enough talking here is the monstrosity that im going to build, the JonesTech GKF1: It is a limited production of 50, with over 100,000 custom options for drivetrain and design. More to come!

Neat design, 2 questions-

You're going to produce 50 of these? Really? What is the projected retail price, and by what method will you sell them?

How is it even physically possible to have 100,000 options?

You change a drive sprocket by one tooth, theres one option; if you have a range of sprockets, there's a whole bunch of options. 4 different wheel designs &, let's say, 10 different sprocket sizes, there's a combined 40 options. They soon add up...

And then you can paint them 40 different colors, and BANG! You're all set.

I just wanna see the math that adds up to 100,000+. It's quite a claim!

How many fasteners do you want holding it together? A Formula One V8 engine, or 48 rare chainsaw engines by a mfg. who went defunct in the stock market crash of '28? Powered by coldfusion using cocktail onions for the fuel source, or something more mainstream like dark energy? Heck, why not go all out and request the quantum singularity power package?

Advertising; always read the fine print first.

Well, It truely looks good... a bit of a crossbreed of the Ariel Atom and an older F1.

But Boy, I don't want to try to fiddle my knees in that cage!
Regarding a standard butt size of 40 to 50 cm (15-20") that cage narrows down to less than 10" (25cm) pretty fast.
I'm not too sure that this is going to work very well regarding steering, pedals, and most of all LEGS.

But, since you introduced yourself that confident and all... go ahead, amaze me!

best to find a couple of good steel scrap yards, and a retail steel store. home depot doesn't carry the quantity needed for a go-kart like that, and it'll get expensive really fast!

yea lol but I got a question, where does every buy their steel from

Where did you get your steel for all the other builds that you have done? Just go there again.

The best bet is a steel supplier, not a hardware store. Much cheaper

Post some pics of these other bike builds that you have done so that we can see the quality of your work

Oh....and WELCOME to the forum. I am sure you will enjoy it here
