Try popping the cell caps off that battery and pouring some new acid or even water into each cell. Proceed to putting it on the charger for a few hours. Good chance it'll come back to life.

oh and use your uncles mower as a race mower if we get it? because its probably a better platform. and it has a bigger engine.

alright pulled the caps and the liquid was about an inch of air down from being level with the top of the battery. i filled them all the way to the top with water then put the caps back. i dont have a charger so ill just run the engine for a while and see if it restarts.

forgot to test before, but voltage after adding the water is now 11.4 volts.

the charging coil on the motor may not be enough to bring it back. It may work, but it usually takes a good long steady charge. Let us know how it goes!

IFF you can even get it to move. all that weight up front on something that doesnt have much weight to it to begin with. i think you'll be doing a lot of tire spinning and very little movement.

I'd look into making a set of tire chains for it, That with some extra weight on the back will make that thing go pretty **** well in the snow.

Wheel weights and chains. Dont put the weight over the axle. They cant take it.

They can, if it's reasonable- like an extra 50 LBS. Think about it- you weigh, say, 150lbs. It's feasible to think the tractor can tolerate a 250lb rider. That's 100lbs you can safely add to the axle.

and remember, the way its rigged up, its taking weight off the rear end. adding weight is to make it normal again.

im about 110 pounds haha... so i can eat alot of cheeseburgers and add another 100 pounds to the back (maybe)

once i put about 175 pounds worth of barbells on a 2x4 out the back, it pulled nice wheelies.
