:toetap05: Wheelie bars- good idea:iagree:

:worried2::eek: Wasn't sure what you were trying to do when the hole shot went south; trying for a burn out?:confused:

Looks like you guys were trying to use the other tractor as a fixed anchor; If that was the case, I can see why you had the big surprise. If you are trying for a smokey burn out, you have to hook the two together using the hitches. They are below the axle center-line. Throwing an old drive belt over the seats just resulted in the wheeley-o-matic that almost bit you, big time. (Anchor the seat, drop the hammer, and the wheels go running away; where does that leave the driver? He becomes the filling in the lawn mower cookie.:oops:)

I'm just glad no one was seriously hurt.

Fun= good:wai:

E.R. runs= bad:ack2::angelsad2:

On the way over with the husqvarna i had popped a pretty good wheelie with the 1036 at about half throttle then on the way back i decided to go big and it just ended up going bad!

okay i put a murray pulley on the tranny so the belt is now too long instead of too short.

the problem im having now, (after i made a tensioner to keep it tight) as soon as i turn over the engine the belt falls off.

i would have been able to drive it today if it werent for the belt constantly falling off. i cant figure out why its falling off...

oh and my battery is shot. i picked up the front end of the tractor and leaned it back vertically. went inside and later on i smelled something.

went outside and found the tractor flipped over on its back and battery acid all over it mixed with gasoline.

so when it flipped the terminals both touched the frame and shorted out. my battery is totally shot, i removed it.

its all pull start, now.
