Thought it was time I threw this out there....(Not for sympathy...just so people could understand.)

I was diagnosed with Muecoepidermoid Carcinoma of the minor salivary gland in 2003...(excuse any misspelling..it's been awhile) ...

Well...I kicked it's but and it kicked mine....

Throat Cancer therapy can only be described as a trip through ****...

I'm a tough guy...and at nearly 60...can back it up.....


Anyway....to review: my dad died when I was 6, I've suffered the ravages of throat Cancer...and I see punks come here who's whole world is HANDED to them on the internet....and by mom and dad....and yet...they can't appreciate the simple things.......

There IS no cure for STUPID!

well i know i work hard for my toys.
$8 an hour for landscaping in this Texas weather isn't much for the work.
and i quit working at Pilgrims after a week and a half of the same robotic motion for 7 hours a day of factory working a chicken "dis"-assembly line. but $310 a week after taxes wasnt bad for income it was just killer on the body and mind with no pain meds or motion sickness pills.

So who gives you your income? me and my taxes? My grandpa always tells me thanks for paying for his social security >:/ lol

As a person with there significant other having cancer... And having to live with her through it...
You kinda have to set your differences aside...

I may not know Doug(Poboy) personally(but very inclined to meet the man should an occasion arise), but he calls how he sees it... And frankly those people are far and few between... We need more of them.... Maybe as the years go by, I reckon I'll see alot more what Doug really sees going by and speak to it....

YES thats 35 years to earn my right to collect social security disability.

If i was able to i would have still been working 3 jobs for many more years.

So if your grandfather is thanking you then he didnt work to earn it !

it was a joke. he doesnt even claim social security and still works at 67. it's the only way i would work for him at $8 an hour tax free though.

And...oooohhh ...landscaping...(read pushing a mower here)...in Texas weather?

Welcome to the real world...you are clueless....try hauling hay in 115° weather for 3 cents a bale...or trimming apartments for 7 cents a foot.

And just so you know....I recieve NO government assistance...and unfortunately, I won't live long enough to get back what I put in.

I spent the first 20 years of my working life with REAL jobs...not dopehead lawnmower pushing or sticking my hands up chicken A$$ES...

My first job was foreman at a boat trailer manufacturing plant ...ordering 40 year old men who had been there 10 years around at the age of 19.

I've painted parts for the Thunderbirds. I painted F-16's for a living.I've made $35 an hour tax free.

I have built free standing sistered staircases from the ground up for $30,000.

Had my own businesses and hired and fired people.

Done taxidermy, play guitar, fish and hunt, dabbled in gunsmithing. Built hotrods.

Most of all, though, made a lot of friends...and helped a lot of people out along the way. Raised a beautiful daughter that gave me a precious grandson.

I'VE LIVED !
