The new project is under way.

Well the new project is under way. I found a chopper
frame on Kijiji.com for $100.00, it already has all the parts I need
except the rear shaft is to short and I need another wheel.

I stripped it down to bare bones, primed the frame and started laying out the new build. Here are some pics of what I did this weekend. The wood in the first picture was the previous owners
idea for a chain gaurd and check out the throttle.

I will post more pics as the build Progresses.

P.S. I'm looking for ideas for the front suspension. I've seen a
spring suspension set up on a 3 wheeler called an Alsport, I have attached a Picture and a diagram. Has anyone built anything like this. I don't want to use a conventional shock suspension from a bike.

All suggestions, ideas, and comments ar welcome.

not really a chopper frame, right? looks like a dragbike.you want frontend that has grace, like the old springers. had a 1936 bmw, used leaf springs instead of coil overs.

Starting to take shape

Well it starting to look like a Trike, I have to removed the 6.0 hp
engine from my old Ruttman and installed it in the new frame.
I rebuild the front axle with proper spacers. I have also installed
the brake level, foot pegs and seat. Here are some pic from
weekend two of the build.
