Greetings fellow gear-heads! Just popping in to say an official hello. I have been stalking the site for a while and I thought it was time to introduce myself.
I am in process of rehabbing what used to be a Yerf Dog 30033. I bought it in poor condition, and am doing some re-engineering. The most important change will be a Kohler Command 13hp with electric start.
Everything is pretty much ready at this point, I just have a little more welding to do on the frame.

Howdy.
I'm curious to know what mods you are doing to the frame. I have a similar kart with a Honda 270 on it.

No "mods" to the frame necessarily. The previous owner must have wrecked it or something, they had booger welds all over the place. I cut out and sleeved pipe in a number of places. The "mods" are more visual, instrument cluster for my ignition key and headlight switch, skid steer lap belt with safety ignition kill, overhead roof rack for fuel tank, wire harness box, and battery, 4" round LED headlamps. Also complete repaint in metallic blue, and all new custom cushions for the seat. Finally the 13hp engine and 40 series torque converter.

Great kart, by the way. It looks like the same frame, I think it is 30032 maybe.
