I would say , it's probably fine.

Your not really putting much more torque through it than a factory motor.
Most all stage mods increase power at higher engine speeds, but not torque.

Unless the stage kit comes with flat top piston, and small combustion chamber/shaved head.

The #40 chain won't break. The dogs are not, well very substantial, but have held up fine to my 10hp mud mower,
rocking back n forth, grinding, pulling trailers and dead tractors out the woods.

Right on , might want to fill with straight 30 non-detergent,
instead of gear oil. Shifting can be bit stiff with 90w. Shipped dry, of course.

Both shafts are on ball bearings, and trans gears on needle, so it can handle some speed :thumbsup:

Wouldn’t straight 50# be better. 30# might be too thin I would think. Still is a lot of stress with 9 lbs/foot of torque on it.
