This is a project took me 2 months to complete. I built this go kart last year at home. All the steel was courtesy of my workplace. The chasis took 1 month to weld. All the components, The steering wheel, wheels, sprocket, clutch, Nuts and Bolts etc were purchased within the 2 month period. It was a challenge, But all the hard work was well worth it in the end. It keeps the boys occupied. The go kart was made for my sons Jayden, Antonio and Hendrix.
Please feel free to comment on youtube.

I'm with you Fowler, this clip really doesn't desserve positive attention....

Neither does your comment...

I would be willing to bet that THAT go kart does no more damage to the field than the players do to it with their cleats. And it looks like a giant public park or practice field to me, not a school's soccer field. Great thing about grass...it grows back!!!!!

I think its a perfect place to ride. Better than a public parking lot or street with possible traffic going through...and the potential for accidents and road rash.

This video is awesome, I think. What ages are your boys?

I'm with you Fowler, this clip really doesn't desserve positive attention, as the person allowing the boys to drive here, is wrecking someones sportsfield.

Personally i think it's great fun, to build and drive karts and buggies... But not everywhere you wan't !

JayGokart, theres no such thing as an acceptable excuse for destroying private or public propperty, so find somewhere else to ride the kart.

This guy has a son named Hendrix. Your comment is invalid.

No matter your financial or transportational possibillities, or any other argument you can come up with for that matter, justifies you riding in general public AT ANY TIME.

So be quiet Quaddakeric, it's still vandalism, and nothing but a immature disrespectfull act of selfishness !
Says who? You? What makes you think your opinion matters?

You sound like a friggin baby who doesn't get what they want. :mad2:

Man! C'mon!!!! I think its ridiculous that its gone this far. I will agree that it is vandalism if that park has a sign saying "no motor vehicles" or "no defacing." We know no details of this place. We don't know that it had signs or not even if the man was maybe permitted to let his sons ride there. But whatever. My OPINION is that they didn't do any damage worth losing sleep over. Your OPINION is that they did. But I think you went a little far. You TOLD the man to find somewhere else to ride. Now you're telling ME to be quiet. Do you run this site? Are you a moderator? You voiced your opinion, I voiced mine. Free country. Get over it. :D

No really, CALM THE FVCK DOWN. You're seriously blowing this out of proportion.
Do you live where this field is? No.
Are you going to be out there playing on that field after they ride there? No.
The only person who has a right to be offended in this situation would be a player using that field, and that is not you. I don't see them *****ing anywhere about it, I'm sure they prefer this to, say, you walking your dog across there and letting him sh!t on the grass. I'm sure there are rules about that, but I highly doubt there are rules about go-karts. If a cop were to come up to him and tell him he needs to go somewhere else, and he continued to ride there, THEN he would be in the wrong. But so far I don't see any reason to be getting as pissy as you are.

whoa. I expected to see 10 inch ruts in the mud after reading those comments. C'mon. Really?

I like the simple, strong build. The only thing I'd recommend adding is a helmet. May seem like overkill, but....

The kid(s) should have worn helmets.

Obviously they watch too much NASCAR. They can only drive in one direction.

The Kart looks cool and fun.

To the person that thinks the kart causes about as much damage to the turf and spiked shoes...

Are you drunk????
