I'm interested to see how this trans works out for ya. I was wondering if I could use a mower trans in a go kart. I'd probably get 700 though.

The thing with these transmissions is although properly prepped they are good for quite a bit of power, they are not meant to/canot be shifted while moving and are basically multi range transfer cases.

Currently waiting on brake cable and carb parts, gonna mount seat and do the belt tesnioner this weekend.

Got me a big ole e brake cable from a car, with any luck it will be ready to ride minus the carb by monday.

No luck, some stuff came up this weekend, got nothing done other than rolling it out and taking this mockup picture for the seat mounting(yes it is recovered with a trash bag!).

My Honda came out to say hello.

I have also decided to go with a hand operated brake, with the footpegs on the front axle, I will have plenty of control with just one hand.
