So....hey everyone..!
So..the Honda Cbr600rr.....a 600cc sports bike engine....can it be used one road karts? If yeh, aren't they extremelly fast with an engine like that?

Aaha...so what speeds are they capable of? And is it very hard to install one on a kart?

The easy answer is that it just matters -- for some, building a hot rod is easy, and for others building a birdhouse might be impossible. It's all about ingenuity. There's another post talking about this engine on the board right now, too.

shifter karts

At Gateway International in St.Louis a few years ago the 250cc shifter karts where reaching speeds over 125 mph! They would probably go faster but the fear of take off probably was a consideration! Get a Micro midget frame for the engine. If you dont know what that is go to ebay and look under racecars for sale.

go on google vids and put in go cart look for the one with a 600cc engine and if that ant enuf watch the one with a 1000cc 100hp engine

yeh i watched both of them....yeh..both karts are extremelly fast....but i though about it...and i think i'm gonna go with a bit smaller engine....i still want it to be really fast.....but not totally out of control....Any recommendations on which engine i should use? Any fast dirt bike engine...or about 400cc sport bike engines?
